Abstract : Notes are given on the main postharvest diseases of mangoes in Brazil. Anthracnose (caused by Colletotricum gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata]) is the main disease, while Botryodiplodia theobromae and Alternaria alternata are also important. The process of infection and control methods are also outlined.
