Effect of bagging on the fruit storability and quality of Tainong 1 mango cultivar.

Abstract : Mango cultivar Tainong 1 fruits were bagged with 60 g Kraft, 80 g Kraft, 100 g Kraft or semi-transparent white paper (control). Fruits were assessed 5, 7, 9 and 11 days after harvest. The 80 g Kraft bags resulted in the best keeping quality (71% good fruit quality rate 11 days after harvest, compared with 1.1% in controls).
