Abstract : Mango grafts were: (a) covered with wet plastic bags and placed in the sun, (b) covered with dry bags and placed in the sun, (c) as in (a) but placed in the shade, (d) as in (b) but placed in the shade, (e) grafts without covers were placed in the sun and (f) as in (e) but placed in the shade. The take in (a), (b), (c), (d), (e) and (f) was 92, 95, 97, 95, 40 and 47%, respectively.
