Abstract : This paper provides information on the behaviour of tropical fruit crops (mangoes, bananas, citrus, guavas, pineapples, lychees, pawpaws and grapes), particularly their biochemical changes at preharvest and postharvest stages in relation to nutrient management. The composition, nutrient deficiencies, physiological disorders, and effects of nutrients on growth, yield and quality of each of the tropical fruit crops are discussed.
