Abstract : A description and yield data for the 1964-1970 period are given for a selected clone of the 2/7 hybrid (Chinna Suvarnarekha X Neelum). Its mean annual yield over 7 years yield was 134 kg/tree compared with the 5-year mean annual yield in Neelum of 161.29 kg/tree and 31.83 kg/tree in the other parent. The hybrid was noted for regular cropping and cluster bearing habit.
