The characteristics of baby food blends based on Anna apple pulp.

Abstract : 10 baby food blends were prepared mainly from Anna apple pulp in addition to other ingredients such as banana, carrots, mango, guava, dry milk and sugar, with different percentages containing at least 75% of Anna apple pulp. The prepared baby food blends were tested by 40 children aged 1-3 years as panellists. The statistical analysis showed that there were significant differences between the tasted baby food blends. The sample blend number 7 had the maximum score (6.4); it contained 75% apple pulp+10% guava paste+10% milk powder+5% sucrose. The sample number 3 had the lowest score; it contained 90% apple pulp+5% carrot+5% sucrose.
