Abstract : Recommendations are given for cultivation of mangoes in Brazil, including planting density, training, and types of plant formation. Post-harvest pruning and pruning to induce flowering are also described. Notes are given on the influence of irrigation and fertigation and growth regulators on plant spacing. The phenology of mango under semi-arid conditions is outlined and methods for removal of leaves are described.
