Integrated management of mango pests.

Abstract : In Brazil, 148 species of insects and mites are associated with mangoes, with 31 damaging fruits, 78 damaging leaves, 18 damaging inflorescences, 9 damaging shoots and 45 species damaing stems and trunks. Notes are given on the characteristics of key and secondary pests and their control. Methods for sampling various groups of pests, determination of action levels and implementation of control are described. An overview is given of the main cultural, biological and chemical control methods for the key pest species.
