Abstract : Of 46 varieties, Augusta had the lowest number of mites on the buds but suffered more damage than Haden, with the greatest number, this variety being evidently partially tolerant. Carlota also escaped injury, while other varieties grown in the state of Sao Paulo had only low degrees.
