Evaluating criteria of some fruit quantitative characteristics of mango (Mangifera indica) germplasm resources.

Abstract : The average fruit weight, stone weight, soluble solid content, titratable acidity and vitamin C content of 48-57 mango cultivars from Guangdong, China were recorded. The coefficient of variation of the characteristics examined was above 14% and were skewed in distribution except for soluble solid content. Two reference cultivars each, one foreign and one local, for fruit grade indexes of 1-5 were identified.
