Abstract : Three mango cultivars, i.e. Mallika, Khader and Baneshan, were veneer grafted at fortnightly intervals from August to December during 2000-01, in Raichur, Karnataka, India. Grafting operations were done on one-year-old healthy and uniform rootstocks. Grafting in September recorded the minimum number of days for sprouting and the maximum sprouting and survival percentage. Among cultivars, Khader showed significantly higher grafting success (65.30%) and survival (43.60%). Grafting in December resulted in poor sprouting and survival of grafts.
