Abstract : In studies with mature trees of the mango cvs Kent, Smith and Zill N, P2O5 and K2O at 80:30:30 kg/ha were applied (a) before flowering, (b) 50% before flowering and 50% after harvest, and (c) 50% after harvest, 30% before flowering and 20% one month after flowering. Each application was followed by irrigation. No significant effect of different treatments on fruit weight and number was noted. The highest yield (372 kg/tree) was obtained from (b) followed by 399 kg/tree in (a) and 337 kg/tree in (c). The control yield was 172 kg/tree. The effects of treatments on leaf N, P, K, Ca and Mg contents were determined and the data are tabulated.
