Abstract : Cv. Keitt mango trees were sprayed with ethion (6 or 12 oz/100 gal), Supracide [methidathion] (4 or 8 oz/100 gal) or malathion (16 or 32 oz/100 gal) for oleander scale [Aspidiotus nerii] control. Fruit was sampled 7, 14, 21 or 28 days later. Each of the insecticides controlled the scale. Residues declined with time. Figures are tabulated for residues of the insecticides and their oxon metabolites in the peel and whole fruit.
