Abstract : In the supply chain management (SCM) concept the relationships among actors in the chain must first be understood before making any intervention. In this paper, three systems for agri-product processing are analysed: mango puree processing in Cirebon, West Java; the semi-manual production of single-strength citrus juice in Nabire, Papua; and the handling and processing of citrus in Sambas, West Kalimantan. Results of the analyses demonstrate that Cirebon is at early Stage Four, Nabire at the end of Stage One, and West Kalimantan at early Stage Two. The pattern of collaboration indicated that in Cirebon, the system is an operational-collaboration system (OCS), with a strong government role; in Nabire, a general trade system (GTS); and in Sambas, an operational-collaboration system (OCS) with a strong private sector.
