Effect of different kinds of bag on fruit quality of Keitt mango cultivar.

Abstract : Experiment was conducted with 4 kinds of bag for bagging the fruit of Keitt mango cultivar, including outer yellow and inner black double layer bag, white single layer bag, yellow single layer bag and outer yellow and inner red bag. Fruit were bagged on 28-29 May, 50 fruit for each treatment. Fruit were harvested on 7 August. Results showed the best fruit purple red coloration was obtained by outer yellow and inner black double layer bag. But the white single layer bag could obviously reduce the fruit infected with anthracnose disease;8 days after harvest the fruit infected with anthracnose rate of the fruit bagged with white single layer bag was 10%, while the others were 40-90%.
