Abstract : Results are reviewed of storage trials by various workers on seeds of (1) rambutan (Nephelium lappaceum), pummelo, mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) and mango; (2) carambola (Averrhoa carambola), pawpaw, guava and Passiflora edulis. With group (1) seeds of which did not tolerate drying, moist storage was necessary and rambutan seeds best retained their viability if stored with the arilloid juice at about 20 deg C in moist sawdust in polyethylene bags. With group (2) dry storage at low temperatures in sealed containers was best.
