Abstract : The genetic variation in 31 domestic and imported mango cultivars was determined using amplified fragment length polymorphism (AFLP). Fourteen primer pair combinations amplified 1761 bands in the sample cultivars, 97% of which were polymorphic. Based on the AFLP banding patterns, the cultivars were clustered into 7 groups, with threshold of 0.48 similarity coefficient. The first group was further divided into 6 subgroups with a threshold of 0.52 coefficient of similarity.
