Abstract : Fruits of the mango cvs Tommy Atkins, Zill, Haden and the local cv. Mamey were stored at 12 deg or 23 deg C and 85-90% RH for 33 days. Mamey fruits were also stored at 7 deg and 5 deg for 3 weeks. Fruits of Mamey, Tommy Atkins, Zill and Haden were successfully stored at 12 deg for 21, 33, 28 and 21 days, respectively. At 7 deg Mamey could be stored successfully for up to 15 days only and at 5 deg skin damage was observed. Data are graphically presented on changes in fruit chemical composition during storage.
