Abstract : This paper presents new species of the sooty mould genus Polychaeton on two different indigenous plant species. These are identified as Polychaeton ichnocarpicola sp. nov. on Ichnocarpus frutescens and P. mangiferae sp. nov. on Mangifera indica.
