Abstract : Acerola, guava and mango fruit juices (5 commercial brands) were evaluated for chemical, physico-chemical and microbiological characters. The samples from guava juices were below the standards in at least one of the identity and quality characters studied. Acerola and mango samples were in accordance with Brazilian legislation. All samples were in accordance to the sanitary standard established by Brazilian legislation, and are satisfactory for human consumption.
