Abstract : Study on physico-chemical constituents of fifty-eight mango cultivars under sub-arid zone at Department of Horticulture, Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Maharashtra was undertaken. The cvs, Swanen, Jahangir, Banchhod, Vanraj, Totapuri, produced big size of fruits with more than 50% of pulp. The cultivars Kesar, Pairi, and Alphonso produced medium size fruits and contained more than 60% pulp with high fruit quality. The cvs. Ambehaud Malihabad Safeda, Langra, Ratna, Pairti, Bombay yellow, Golden selection, and Totapuri recorded more than 20% Brix, while Kesar, Alphonso, Mallika, Vanraj, Jahangir, Mulgoa, and Dudhpedha contained more than 15% Brix. The cvs. Dilpasand contained maximum percentage of T.R.S, N.R.S. with high acidity. R.S. content was maximum in cv. Vanraj, followed by cv. Narillio. 33% cvs. contained 1.34% acidity while rest cvs. contained 2.01 to 3.35% acidity. The cv. Dilpasand contained maximum N.R.S.
