Abstract : This paper discusses the methods for controlling diseases, i.e. powdery mildew (Oldium mangiferae [Oidium mangiferae]), anthracnose or blossom blight (Colletotrichum gloeosporium [Glomerella cingulata]) and dieback (Lasiodiplodia theobromae), and parasitic plants (Dendrophthoe faculta [Dendrophthoe falcata]) infecting mangoes. The disease symptoms and mode of transmission are also discussed.
