Abstract : Almost 100% of new mango plants grown on old tomato farm land became infected with V. albo-atrum, a new host record. Although few trees died from the wilt, the only treatment which restored vigour to infected trees was injection of sequestrene 138 (2 oz in 5 gal water/tree) into the soil at the base of each tree.
