Abstract : This study examined the extent of adoption of mango production technologies by a sample of 80 domestic- and 40 export-oriented mango growers in Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was found that the export-oriented farmers differed significantly from the domestic-oriented farmers with respect to adoption level. Personal variables such as age, education, landholding and area under mango along with socio-psychological variables such as social participation, extension contact, mass media exposure, scientific orientation and economic motivation were found to have a positive and significant contribution to the adoption level.
