Veneer grafting on mango seedlings raised in earthen pots.

Abstract : Pot-grown mango seedlings were transplanted into trenches in September and in the following year they were veneer-grafted at intervals from 15 March to 1 June. The percentage success varied between 68 and 91%, 15 May being the optimum date for grafting. Data are also presented on the growth of the grafts, assessed at the end of July.
