Abstract : Data on fruit contents of total soluble carbohydrates, sucrose, glucose and fructose are tabulated. Sucrose was the principal component in mango, M. cauliflora, pineapple, orange and banana. Banana had the highest total soluble carbohydrate content (20.44% on a fresh weight basis) and lemon the lowest (0.81%).
