Abstract : The effects of adjuvants at different rates on the efficacy of pre-harvesting fungicide (Punch C [carbendazim + flusilazole], Tilt [propiconazole] and Dimildex [copper oxychloride]) applications against anthracnose (Colletotrichum gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata]) and stem-end rot (Botryosphaeria sp.) on mango (cv. Kent) were studied at Bavaria Estates in the Hoedspuit area, South Africa. Fungicides sprayed without adjuvants at 1200 litres/ha were more effective in the control of postharvest decay than fungicides sprayed with adjuvants at 800 litres/ha. The adjuvants reduced the efficacy of the fungicides if sprayed at 1200 litres/ha. However, the efficacy of the fungicides was improved with the incorporation of adjuvants sprayed at 800 litres/ha.
