Abstract : This work aimed to study the effect of different combinations of foliar fertilizers and phytoregulators in the fruit set and fruit size, in 5-yr-old 'Kent' mango trees. The applications of 20 to 40 ppm of GA3 plus calcium-boron 0.4% (calcium 8% and boron 1%) respectively, increased significantly the fruit set production, and reduced fruit drop. The fruit size and the yield had also significant differences in relation of the concentration of giberellic acid and calcium-boron. The best results were obtained with 20 ppm of GA3 plus 0.4% of calcium-boron (36.7 t.ha-1) and a mix of cytokinins (0.009%), auxins (0.005%) and giberellins (0.005%) plus 0.25% of calcium-boron (37.3 t.ha-1).
