Abstract : These proceedings include papers presented at the 16th Annual International Tropical Fruit Conference held from September 29 to October 1, 2006 at Kaila-Kona, Hawaii. Papers include: new fruits; collecting the tropical fruits of tropical america; from germplasm collection to Kaimana lychee production management; tropical fruit diseases; little fire ant and mixed fruit boxes; nutrient requirements during 'Kaimana' lychee production; postharvest treatment of Kaimana lychee to prevent browning; bringing quality food to market in Hawaii; grafting mangoes; vegetative propagation by cuttings using a non-mist propagator; and insect traps.
