Abstract : The work approaches the peculiarities of the packings used in the agricultural products, specifically the cases of the tomato (Lycopersicum esculentum L.) and of the mango (Mangifera indica L.) going to the fresh consumption and to the export. In the same one you can appreciate the methods used in Costa Rica and in Cuba for these ends. It should be highlighted that the knowledge of the packing technologies can report important economic dividends for our country when protecting the integrity and the quality of the agricultural products that we market as much in national currency as in freely convertible currency. The objective of this work is to give to know and to discuss about the different packing technologies to use in the previously mentioned products.
