Fruit growth and effect of fertilizer on mango quality var. 'Mahachanok' in Kanchanaburi Province.

Abstract : Fruit growth of 'Mahachanok' mango was observed at Kanchanaburi Research Station, Amphur Wang Dong, Kanchanaburi Province, during January to June 2007. The observation found that after anthesis at the end of January, fruits matured at the end of May until beginning of June. The use of fertilizer 15-15-15 at rate 1-3 kilogram per tree at 60 days after anthesis was found that fertilizer at rate 1 kilogram/tree increased average fruit weight greater than nontreated trees. Application of foliar fertilizer formular 13-0-46 at rate 50-150 gram/20 liter of water did not increase fruit weight, size and soluble solids after spraying at 86 days after anthesis.
