Abstract : The different propagation methods compared used rootstocks 4-10 months old and they were cut back (except with wedge-grafting) 2-8 weeks after grafting. With durian bud-grafting gave the highest percentage success, using 4-month-old rootstocks cut back after 2 weeks. With rambutan approach-grafting was the best, using 6-month-old rootstocks cut back after 4 weeks. With mango approach-grafting and bud-grafting were equally successful, using 4-month-old rootstocks cut back after 4-6 weeks. Wedge-grafting gave poor results with all 3 tree species.
