Abstract : Fruits of mango cultivars Haden, Kent, Keitt, Palmer and Tommy Atkins from Monagas, Venezuela, were evaluated for physicochemical properties: fruit length, soluble diameter, weight, total soluble solids (TSS), titratable acidity (TA), TSS/TA ratio and pH. Palmer had the greatest fruit weight (698.36 g) and the Haden had the lowest weight (345.13 g). The highest content of TSS (9.17%) was recorded in Haden and the lowest (6.33%) in Kent and Palmer. The TA was greatest (0.29%) in Keitt and lowest (0.16%) in Kent. The SST/TA ratio was the greatest (39.58%) in Kent and lowest (26.20%) in Keitt.
