Abstract : Sixty hosts of Loranthus were recorded in the Konkan region of Maharashtra, India. All the host plants were perennial, woody and dicotyledonous. Forest trees (35) predominate, followed by fruit trees (10), forest shrubs (8) and ornamental plants (7). Out of these 60 hosts, 19 are reported as hosts for the first time in the world. The infestation of Loranthus was higher in wild trees than the trees in managed orchards such as mango.
