Coefficient for the estimation of constant factor "k" for leaf area determination in mango (Mangifera indica L.).

Abstract : The experiment was carried out at the Regional Horticultural Research Station, Gujarat Agricultural University for two continuous seasons on three mango cultivars, namely, Alphonso, Dashehari and Rajapuri. The constant factor (k) 0.449 for Alphonso, 0.553 for Dashehari and 0.647 for Rajapuri, obtained can be efficiently used for quick estimation of leaf area, even with intact leaves.
