Abstract : Thamnostylum piriforme was observed during extensive surveys of microfungi in 2004-06. T. piriforme was isolated from the phylloplane of living leaves of mango from Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is being reported from India after a gap of more than 25 years.
