Control of height through growth retardants in fruit trees.

Abstract : This paper focuses on the morphophysiological mechanisms by which different growth inhibitors and retardants control the height, canopy size and spread of fruit trees. Presented herein are results of some studies on the impact of growth retardants on the economic productivity of mango, litchi, grape, pear, peach, cherry, apple, avocado and strawberry.
