Abstract : The efficacy of Bavistin DF (Carbendazim-50%), Tilt-250 EC (Propiconazole 25%) and Planofix (?-Naphthalene acetic acid 4.5%) was evaluated against vegetative malformation of mango grafts at the Regional Horticulture Research Station, Chapai Nawabganj, Bangladesh during January 2007 to June 2008. The chemicals were tested on seven month old grafts of BARI Aam-1, BARI Aam-2, BARI Aam-3 and Khirsapat. Among the mango varieties BARI Aam-3 showed the highest disease incidence (16.12%) followed by Khirsapat (13.72%). The lowest disease incidence (2.22%) as well as the highest disease reduction (81%) was recorded in grafts sprayed with a mixture of Planofix and Bavistin DF. In interaction effect, the lowest disease incidence (1.35%) was recorded in BARI Aam-2 grafts sprayed with a mixture of Planofix and Bavistin DF in both the year.
