Symptoms of zinc deficiency in mango.

Abstract : Mango trees, cv. Dashehari, showing Zn deficiency symptoms (described) had a leaf Zn content of 27.5 p.p.m., compared with 35.2 p.p.m. for apparently healthy trees. Spraying with zinc sulphate at 0.2 and 0.4% in February raised the leaf Zn content to 42.5 and 92.5 p.p.m., respectively, after 72 h, and the new flush was free of deficiency symptoms.
