Abstract : Powdery mildew caused by Oidium mangiferae is one of the most destructive diseases of mango. Five fungicides were tested at their recommended doses against the powdery mildew affected mango trees of variety Dusehri at chak 209 R.B. Faisalabad during 2007, 2008. All the fungicides checked the disease incidence significantly as compared to untreated control. The fungicides, Score and Barb, proved to be the most effective after three sprays while Native and Anpower were not so effective compared to other fungicides. Three sprays of these fungicides after blossoming stage each at 10 days interval, gave the best control of the Powdery mildew of mango. Application of fungicides had no harmful effect on flower and fruit setting.
