Abstract : The Ni pullutions both in soil and mango in mango base in Panzhihua city of Sichuan province were studied. The sample were collected according to the soil type, the using purpose of land. The results showed that the Ni average contents were 47.9, 39.2 and 21.7 mg/kg respectively in West district, Yanbian and Renhe mango base and there were 30%, 41% and 5% of Ni contents in soil surpass the II grade environment standard in West district, Yanbian county and Renhe district respectively. The average Ni values in soil were higher than those of common Ni contents in other districts of China (20.7-31.1 mg/kg) except the renhe district. The matrix was the main factor affecting the Ni content in soil. The Ni contents in Mangoes among West district, Yanbian county and Renhe district were 0.80, 0.66, 0.60 mg/kg (of dry matter) respectively, and there were a positive relationship between the average contents of Ni in mango and the corresponding soil.
