Abstract : Leaf extract of twenty-three plants were evaluated for their antifungal activity against fungi causing mango malformation, Fusarium moniliforme var. subglutinans=Fusarium subglutinans. Although, all the leaf extracts checked the radial growth of test fungus, extracts of Azadirachta indica A. Juss., Achyrenthes roses and Calotropis gigantea proved more effective against F. subglutinans. While, the leaf extract from Eagle marmelos (L.) Corr., Ricinus communis L. and Ficus racemosa L. were found less effective. It was also found that isolate F1 from Sabour was comparatively less aggressive among all the isolates of F. subglutinans.
