Abstract : In vitro tests showed that both fungi, isolated from guava and mango, respectively, required auxins for good growth, P. psidii grew best on 2,4,5-T, maleic hydrazide and naphthalene acetic acid, whereas B. theobromae did so on 2,4-D, IAA, colchicine and maleic hydrazide.
