Elemental concentration in fruits and leaves of chicku and mango under natural environmental conditions.

Abstract : Fruit, 9 samples, of chicku (Achras zapota) had in mu g/g dry weight, K 3250, Ca 500, Mg 525, Fe 13, Cu 2.3, Zn 7.5, Mn 2, Sr 2.3, Li 0.05. Mango (Mangifera indica) had K 8387, Ca 497, Mg 719, Fe 177, Cu 6.3, Zn 157, Co 0.41, Mn 10, Sr 1.16 and Li 0.05. Uranium was not detected in either fruit. Three minerals were estimated in leaf and soil also.
