Abstract : Mango malformation is a very serious disease of national importance in India and a century has passed since it has been reported with a large amount of research efforts. The present investigation was carried out in Gangetic West Bengal during the year 2004 to 2006 by screening ten mango hybrids of three to five years bearing plants for tolerance against floral malformation. Susceptibility rating was done using 0 to 5 scale and the host-taxa were classified to their response to the pathogen. Neelgoa was recorded to be the most susceptible hybrid and Mahmud Bahar was the least against the malady. The order of susceptibility of mango hybrids to floral malformation in descending order is Neelgoa, Ratna, Mallika, Amrapali, Swarna Jehangir, Au Rumani, Neeluddin, Neeleshan, Prabha Sankar and Mahmud Bahar.
