Abstract : An anthracnose resistant crossed population was established with highly resistant cultivar Chun Hwang as maternal plant and highly susceptible cultivar Irwin as paternal plant, resulted in 219 crossed fruit and 184 crossed seedlings. And the fruit set rate was 2.18%, calculated by flowers. Among the 16 primers used, 15 primers could amplify effective band; 12 primers gave stable profiles and 8 primes showed higher polymorphism information content between the parent plants. In addition, 184 true hybrids were selected by SSR molecular markers. The results showed that SSR molecular markers were a very sensitive and effective tool for mango hybrids verification.
