Abstract : In this article, losses of major nutrients (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, Mn, Fe, Cu, Zn, B and Mo) through fruit removal, fixation in permanent structures, in pruned materials and in fallen leaves are quantified for several different fruit kinds, including apple, pear, peach, avocado and mango. Nutrient requirements of fruit trees are worked out based on the analyses of nutrient losses.
