Effect of fruit size on the ripening of Edward mangoes.

Abstract : Sound fruits showing deep green peel colour and ranging in size from 2.5-3, 3-3.5 to >3.5 inches in diameter were stored at 21 deg C in 85-90% RH for 5, 9 and 15 days. Generally, the larger the fruit the better it ripened and the higher was its quality. Data on fruit chemical composition are tabulated.
