Abstract : Leaf samples, each comprising 10-50 leaves, were collected from non-fruiting twigs of mango trees at monthly intervals at leaf ages of 1-12 months. Data are presented on their N, P and K composition. There was little variation in the nutrient levels of 5- to 12-month-old leaves. A sample size of 20-30 leaves, taken at random from all sides of the tree, was considered adequate.
