Abstract : Planofix (containing NAA) at 10, 20 or 30 p.p.m. was applied twice at 15-day intervals in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd week after fertilization, during the mustard, pea and marble stages, respectively. Planofix improved fruit set compared with the control. The most effective stage for application was the marble stage which gave 28.2% fruit set at the optimal concentration (20 p.p.m.). Fruit set at 10 and 30 p.p.m. was 27.8 and 24.0%, respectively, and in the control it was 19.28%. The data are tabulated.
